Elder Robert L. Sanders, Jr., the eldest son of Bishop and Sis. R. L. Sanders, Sr. moved to Buffalo NY in 1972 from Mamaroneck New York.  Pastor Sanders completed his childhood education in the Buffalo Public School system, graduating from McKinley High School.

Pastor Sanders earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Buffalo State College and his Master’s degree from the University of Buffalo in Education.  He is the husband of Anitris Sanders and the father of three children, Robert III, Kala and Jadon.

He currently serves as Pastor of the Greater Refuge Temple of Christ where he fulfills many roles.  To list a few are:

• Assistant to the Apostle Robert Sanders, Sr.
• Executive Director of the Family Life Center
• Praise and Worship Leader
• Director of Ministerial Training and Education
• Director of the New Members Ministry
• Teaching Staff of the Greater Refuge Temple Bible Institute
• Pastor of the Music Ministry, Audio/Video Ministry, & Christian Education Ministry

He has the anointing of God’s Spirit to preach and pray for those who has not received the baptism of the Holy Ghost, as well as the sick with mighty miracles, healings and deliverance following.  The driving force behind this dynamic man of God is the desire to enter the presence of God and behold the Glory of the Lord.

Pastor Sanders is an anointed psalmist and he effectively leads the Greater Refuge Temple of Christ congregation into the presence of the Lord through Praise and Worship.  He gave leadership to the CD entitled “Set the Stage”. This CD featured Absolute Praise (Greater Refuge Praise and Worship Ministry).  Pastor Sanders wrote many of the songs for this project. He most recently served as the executive producer of the live recording of the Greater Refuge Temple Praise and Worship Choir that was released in June of 2005.

Not only does he minister Praise and Worship, but he is also a Gospel Preacher and Teacher.  Pastor Sanders has ministered throughout the Buffalo and Western New York region and Canada.

Everywhere he goes, Pastor Sanders brings the message of a healing, saving and presenting Jesus our Lord and Savior.  As he ministers there is a tremendous move of the Spirit resulting in decisions for Christ, baptisms in the Holy Ghost, healings and deeper commitments to serve God.
